Cohen Shores, like Jordan Zody did his freshman year, made his Henry County Tournament debut a smashing success. Cohen led all golfers to earn the top medalist of the day with an 85 (2 birdies). Andrew Bennett putted well on the front nine, and improved his chipping game. Mason Shelton continued to improve as the day went on. “All County” honors were also earned by Jordan Zody (89 / 4th) and Ryan Craig (93/ 5th). Tri High had a 3 stroke lead after the first 3 golfers completed their rounds, but Shenandoah wasn’t finished. Shores did a great job managing the course today, and staying calm under pressure! SHS will continue to try and “maximize our potential and play at our highest level possible. You can’t be too cool, too good, or too shy”. – Alan Stein We are getting closer to our season goals, as a team, but still have plenty of room for improvement. Putting and knowing where our “landing zones” are located on the greens…still top priorities. Memorial Park and Blue River did an outstanding job as the Tournament Host!
