The Lady Raiders used a strong second half performance to put away Frankton 60-49 in a game played at the New Castle Fieldhouse as part of the statewide Small School Shootout. Trailing at halftime by three points 26-23, the Raiders poured in 20 while holding their Madison County opponent to just 8. The Raiders got key buckets in the quarter from senior Stormie Fitch and junior Jenna Stewart. Fitch hit a key 3 and added a couple of free throws for 5 while Stewart had a timely put back basket as part of her 6 point effort today. The other points came from junior guard Kathryn Perry on a variety of layups, floaters, threes, and free throws.

Perry led all scorers with 31 on the day on 4 twos, 3 threes, and a 14 out of 16 effort from the line. Erikka Hill was next for the Raiders with 13 and Stormie Fitch added 9. The only other Raider to crack the scoring column was Rachel Soden with a free throw.

The Raiders are now off until Thursday night when they will take on county rival Knightstown. On Saturday, the Raiders will travel to Indianapolis Ritter for a 1:30 game.
