Junior post player Erikka Hill exploded for a career best 26 tonight as Shenandoah defeated Monroe Central at SHS. The win lifts the Raiders to 9-0 on the season and helps them remain undefeated in Mid-Eastern Conference play as well.
Hill was nearly unstoppable inside tonight, scoring on a variety of post moves on her 11 field goals to go with her 4 free throws. Fellow junior Kat Perry also came alive in the second half as she scored 15 of her 20 points after the halftime break. Perry poured in three key three pointers in the second half and 6 of 7 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to keep the Bears at bay.
The Raiders are now the only conference school without a conference loss and control their fate as they seek their first MEC title. The Raiders will travel to Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a Saturday evening game against Alexandria. Tickets are still available at the school for $10 ($13 at the door). Game time is 5 PM.
