The Raiders got bases clearing hits in the first and fourth innings to get past Tri at home tonight 8-2. Freshman Elise Boyd did the damage in the first inning with a 2 out triple that drove in the first 3 runs and senior Bridget Lohrey matched her in the fourth with a bases loaded clearing triple that plated 3 more runs. Lohrey continued her recent hot streak as she was 4 for 4 on the evening. Boyd also had a 2 hit night for the Raiders, going 2 for 3. Kenedi Helms added a third triple for SHS. Boyd, Lohrey and Kat Perry all had 2 stolen bases on the night.
Emma Whittenburg got the win for the Raiders from the circle this evening with a complete game 7 hitter, striking out 5.
