Once again, the JV Raiders got off to a slow start, scoring only 6 first half points and trailed Eastern Hancock 7-6 at the half. The Raiders then found their stride offensively in the second half while their defense remained a constant. SHS outscored the Lady Royals 19-11 in the second half to pull out a 25-18 win. The win takes their record to 3-1 on the young season.
Freshman Kayla Muterspaugh did most of the second half damage for the Lady Raiders as she pumped in 10 of her game high 12 points in the third and fourth quarters. Ally Brown and Carly Chandler each went for 4, Holly Shepherd had 3, and Hannah Zody 2 for the young Raiders.
