The Raiders played a good Hagerstown team well but came out on the wrong side of a 4-3 score. Starting pitcher Blake Surface gave up 4 runs over 3.1 innings. He gave up only 2 hits, struck out 2, but walked 5 (3 of which scored). Coleson White relieved and shut down the Tiger offense the rest of the way.
Offensively, the Raiders managed 7 hits but all of them were singles. This comes one night after they pounded 3 home runs at Cowan. Kyle Randolph and Gavin Patrick each had 2 hits on the night. Patrick drove in a run in the third and Randolph drove in 2 runs in the seventh.
The Raiders return to action on Monday when they host Blue River Valley at 5pm.
