Shenandoah’s JV football team got started with a hard fought win over MEC foe Wes-Del tonight at home 20-14.After a scoreless first quarter, Wes-Del got on the board first on a short TD run by QB Harrison Pittsford. The Raiders responded with a TD of their own courtesy of RB Justin Hummel, The 2 point PAT from Tanner Goff to Kam Graddy gave the Raiders an 8-6 lead. The Raiders added a late 2nd quarter TD, this one coming on an 11yard run by Ben Acra. The Raiders led 14-6 at the half.

After a scoreless third quarter, Wes-Del scored on a pass from Pittsford to Evan Whitesell. The PAT pass was caught by Avery Carmin and the scored was tied. That’s when Cole Hughes followed guard Tristen Bertram around left end and took it to the house from 50+ for the deciding score.
