#5) Raiders Have Success in Henry County!!

2018-19 was indeed a good year for SHS inside Henry County! The Raiders totaled 11 County championships last year, led by a sweep of the winter sports of boys and girls basketball as well as wrestling. Henry County teams (Blue River Valley, Knightstown, Tri, and SHS) compete among each other in 14 varsity sports. The

#6) Raider Volleyball Wins 20….4 Named All-State!!

Shenandoah’s volleyball program posted their 3rd- 20 win season in the last 4 years (with 19 victories the other year) to become our 6th “top story” of the 18-19 school year. #7) Raiders Get 5 MEC Championships In 18-19

Our #7 “top outcome” for the 18-19 season revolves around the Raiders earning championships in 5 Mid-Eastern Conference sports this past year, led by the undefeated football (3-0) and boys basketball (9-0) squads. The Raiders also captured the co-conference championship by going 8-1 in softball, tieing with Eastern Hancock. The Raiders swept the MEC tourneys

#8) Girls Basketball Team Posts 20 Win Season!

Continuing our countdown of the top 10 accomplishments of the Raider athletic program finds us at #8 today. The girls basketball team, under the direction of Coach Dameon Wyatt, put together a 20 win season over the course of the winter. The ladies finished 20-5 (6-3 MEC) and lost to a talented Triton Central team

#9) Cross Country Girls Advance to Regional!!

Our top ten accomplishments for the 2018-2019 athletic season continues with #9 today, featuring the success of our girls cross country team. The Lady Raiders advanced as a team to the Regional at Delta after qualifying with an outstanding showing in the always tough Pendleton Heights Sectional. #10) Freestone Has Record Season in Baseball

Our #10 top story of the year involves Shenandoah senior/graduate Landen Freestone’s record breaking performance in baseball this season. Landen broke the school’s batting average record set by Todd Shaw in 1987. Shaw’s record average of .481 had held up an amazing 32 seasons! Landen batted an even .500 this season as he collected 34

SHS to Offer Athletic Physicals July 8th

The Shenandoah Athletic Department will once again offer an evening for athletes to get their physicals for the 2019-2020 athletic year. Athletes must have a physical each year that they compete. This year the physicals will be given on July 8th from 4-7 PM. The physicals will be given in the high school office area
