Raiders News · Raider Facilities to Reopen on July 6th

Athletes can make plans to return to campus for PHASE 1 of reopening SSC beginning on Monday July 6th. PHASE 1 lasts from July 6th thru July 19th. There are strict guidelines that must be adhered to in order to participate. Keep in mind, all summer activities are voluntary. This plan is for students entering grades 9 thru 12.

  1. The facilities are open only to essential personnel. No parents or spectators are allowed.
  2. An athlete may be on campus for a total of 15 hours during the week.
  3. There will be 4 conditioning sessions per week.
  4. Each sport can have 2 activity days per week. These can last up to 3 hours–same sport cannot occur on consecutive calendar days.
  5. Social distancing will be enforced
  6. Face coverings are allowed.
  7. All athletes planning to participate must have a valid IHSAA physical on file. Physicals from last year are acceptable. However, the IHSAA Health History Update Questionnaire and Consent/Release Certificate must be re-submitted.
  8. A Covid-19 attendance will be taken. Parents are required to keep any athlete home whose temperature is 100 degrees or higher. Screening questions will be asked upon athlete arrival. An athlete who has symptoms will be sent home, a parent will be notified (for referral to their primary health provider).
  9. Locker rooms will not be available. Students are to come appropriately dressed for workout. Shirts are required at all times. Showers at home after workouts and immediate washing of workout clothes are highly recommended.
  10. Students are to provide their own water bottles. Water fountains will not be accessible.
  11. No sharing of clothes, shoes, towels, water bottles, etc.
