Shenandoah finally opened their track season on a blustery cold night at Yorktown Monday. The Raiders fell to both the hosts and Pendleton Heights in a three-way meet. Senior Clay Meadows led the Raider efforts with 3 firsts and a second place finish. Clay won the 100m (11.27), the 200m (23.46), the shot put with a throw of 44 feet 5 inches and got the red ribbon in the discus with a throw of 111 feet.
Also placing for the Raiders was Jacob Patton, 4th in the long jump; Colton Monday, 4th in the 400 (56.24); and Jeremiah Johnss was 4th in the high jump.
The Raiders will be at home on Wednesday April 11 for a make-up meet with Knightstown.
