Multiple Teams · First Road Test for Boys Basketball Team on Saturday at Blue River


For the first occasion this season, the Shenandoah Raiders Boys basketball team will be on the road when they travel 10 miles east on State Road 36 to Blue River High School to battle the Vikings.

Shenandoah started the season with a 61-32 victory over Daleville to improve to 1-0 on the season. Raiders began the season for the fourth consecutive year with a victory. Blue River dropped their opening contest to New Castle 89-51.

Henry County Rivals Shenandoah and Blue River met twice during the 2015-16 season with the Raiders earning victories in both contests. That extended Shenandoah’s winning streak over Blue River to four games. In the previous 31 meetings, Blue River has the 16-15 edge in the series.

The Junior Varsity game is scheduled to tip at 6 p.m. on Saturday with Varsity action scheduled for 7:30.
