The Shenandoah Lady Raiders Basketball team returns to action this week with games on Thursday and Saturday. Shenandoah will host the Union Rockets on Thursday at Von Jamison Gymnasium and the Lady Raiders will travel to Winchester High School on Saturday.
Shenandoah has a season record of 0-3 with narrowly dropping the season opener at home by a margin of 35-33 to Elwood. Union won their lone contest this season with defeating Muncie Burris.
In the most recent match up between the schools, Union defeated Shenandoah by a score of 55-35 in December of 2015.
The Shenandoah Lady Raiders are inviting all former or current members of the military to be their guests. Admission to the game will be free for all of our military heroes! We ask that you sign in as you enter so that we might read off and recognize the honor roll of our esteemed guests during the game. After the game, the Lady Raiders would like to have a picture taken with all their guests.
Please remember, that the varsity game will start at 6 p.m. because Union does not have a JV team this season.
On Saturday, the Lady Raiders will compete against the Winchester Golden Eagles, who are 1-0 on the season after beating Blufton on November 5.
The Junior Varsity game at Winchester High School begins at 6 p.m. The Varsity contest is tentatively scheduled for 7:30.
