The Shenandoah Raiders Varsity Football Team will host their home opener on Friday, September 2 against the Centerville Bulldogs. Friday’s game marks the first of three consecutive home games for the Raiders.
Shenandoah enters Friday’s contest with a season record of 1-1 and ranked #11 in Class 1A. The Raiders won their season opener against Hagerstown and most recently dropped a 30-20 game with Delta. Centerville has a 0-2 record with losses against Monroe Central and Tri.
In the most recent match-up between the schools, Shenandoah defeated Centerville by a final score of 52-20. The Raiders have won the previous seven games against Centerville. In the all-time series, Shenandoah holds the advantage at 17-12.
On Friday evening, the kick-off at Shenandoah High School will take place at 7 p.m.
